The project encompassed creating an advanced instrument cluster for EV trucks, providing real-time readings of speed, battery usage, and levels, enhancing driver experience and vehicle monitoring. A robust system tracked each truck’s production status on the assembly line, improving efficiency with real-time updates. Additionally, a customer-facing dashboard enabled vehicle tracking, management, and real-time status readings via web and mobile applications.
What we did
Our team led multiple software initiatives to optimise EV truck operations. An AOSP application for a custom Android tablet provided drivers with real-time data on speed, battery usage, and indicators. An Angular-based web app monitored assembly line progress, facilitating streamlined production management. Additionally, a customer-facing dashboard and management tool, built with Java, Node.js, and Angular, empowered customers with real-time vehicle tracking, trip management, and status updates via web and Android apps.
What was the outcome
The integration of a custom Android tablet with an AOSP application enhanced driver experience by providing real-time vehicle parameter display, ensuring safer driving. A real-time tracking web app improved production efficiency by swiftly identifying and resolving issues on the assembly line.
